Our Story
The Bayt Bahia Association was founded on October 30, 2007 in response to a human emergency: to provide a secure, caring and suitable environment for children with disabilities, often abandoned from birth and deprived of any appropriate care.
Faced with the absence of specialized structures, notably within the Béni Mellal Regional Hospital, a group of committed women and local players chose to take concrete action. This mobilization led, in December 2014, to the recognition of Bayt Bahia as an Établissement de Protection Sociale (EPS), consolidating its essential role in the region.
Since its creation, Bayt Bahia has constantly evolved to welcome not only children without families, but also children from vulnerable backgrounds.
Today, the association positions itself as a place of dignity, hope and inclusion, with a deep commitment to children's rights and well-being.
